Sundays - 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Shooting is open to Members and Shooting members only.

The webmaster and trap chairman wish to appologize for any inconvenience.
Maywood Sportsman's Club facilities include:
8 Lighted Trap Fields (12 Trap Fields in all),
11 of which are equipped with Pat Trap doubles machies
and Canterbury Voice Release units (capable of singles & doubles)
Doubles are normally shot early in the day.
International (or "wobble") trap is offered upon request over four traps.
6 station Sporting Clays Course (provides a variety of different targets)
open only during Sunday shooting hours.

Only 2-3/4" shells are allowed, with no more than 1-1/8 oz of shot, with a shot size of no larger than 7-1/2, and with no more than 3 drams of powder.
Shooting instruction is available through a scheduled ATA "learn to shoot" trap class held the first Saturday in May.
Ammunition is available for sale at the club, with a valid FOID card.
Maywood’s “Severe Weather” policy:
If the forecast is for temperatures at O’hare to fall below a -14 below zero wind chill factor, we will close trap.
In case of extreme snowfall, in the interest of safety, we will not open.
These decisions will be made as early in the day as possible, before 5:00 p.m on Wednesday and before 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.

We only close only under the most extreme circumstances, in the interest of the safety of our staff and volunteers.
